For the first time, CALL Magazine—one of the leading high-end multichannel media brands in the German-speaking world—selects the 100 most inspiring hotels, resorts, and destinations worldwide.
The selection process combines editorial research, evaluation by an international jury, and a global public vote, ensuring both expert insight and audience engagement. Properties that meet the criteria are first shortlisted as CALL 100 Finalists and included in the public voting phase. From this pool, the final CALL 100 list is determined.
There is no ranking within the top 100—each selected property shares the same distinction as one of the world’s most inspiring places to stay and experience.
Selected hotels, resorts, and destinations benefit from international visibility, year-round promotion across CALL media platforms, and recognition among a global audience of travelers, creators, and industry leaders.

Who is on the jury?
As with “CALL 100: The World’s Most Inspiring People,” the editorial team at CALL magazine collaborates with an international CALL 100 jury to compile a professional evaluation of each hotel. The jury includes leading figures from the worlds of art, design, hospitality, and culture, ensuring that selections are guided by expertise and experience.
However, the jury rating is not the only deciding factor. A public vote allows guests, travelers, and industry professionals to cast their votes for participating hotels. This gives hotels, resorts, and destinations the opportunity to engage their guests, fans, and networks, inviting them to support their establishment in a global selection process.
How can my hotel, resort, or destination participate in CALL 100?
Any hotel, resort, destination, or location can apply to be considered for CALL 100: The World’s Most Inspiring Hotels, Resorts, and Places. To participate, applicants must complete the online application form, create an account, upload high-quality images, and submit the entry fee of €380. This fee covers the costs associated with research and review by the international jury, as well as the production and delivery of an official CALL 100 certificate if the hotel attains “Finalist” status.

How are hotels, resorts, and places selected for the CALL 100 list?
The selection process begins with an in-depth research and review phase conducted by the CALL editorial team and the international jury. If a hotel, resort, or destination meets the criteria for inclusion, it is shortlisted for the CALL 100 list. Being shortlisted indicates that the property is eligible for the final list but has not yet been confirmed as a CALL 100 winner. These properties are referred to as Finalists.
Finalists are notified directly, receive an official printed CALL 100 certificate, and are then included in the online public voting process. At this stage, hotels, resorts, and destinations can encourage their guests, fans, and networks to cast votes, helping to increase visibility and engagement during the selection process. In addition, the audience vote plays a significant role in determining the final result.
After the application deadline, the editorial and jury evaluations, together with the results of the public vote, are taken into account to determine the final CALL 100 list. All hotels, resorts, and destinations that make it onto the list will be notified directly.
There is no further ranking within the top 100—no first, second, or third place. Instead, each of the 100 properties holds the same distinction as one of the world’s 100 most inspiring hotels, resorts, and places.
The award is presented annually at a grand gala, and winners also have the option to receive their certificate (and the CALL 100 statue, if selected) by mail.
